OpenAI 表示，较今年 7 月公布的 10 亿，ChatGPT 的周活跃使用者规模进一步增长，表明生成式人工智能正加速从个人应用走向工作情形。
ChatGPT Work 和 Codex 使用者的快速增长，也反映出企业和开发者对文档处理、数据分析、软件开发及工作流程自动化等能力的需要不断上升。
OpenAI 同时加大了对企业级人工智能市面的布局，公司推出的“Dots” AI 智能体可以跨应用执行任务，并结合 Codex 和 ChatGPT Work 完成资料调研、数据分析、文档制作和软件开发等工作。OpenAI 表示，企业使用者规模的扩大将成为推动人工智能从“对话工具”转向“工作伙伴”的关键力量。

IT Home, September 30 news — at its 2026 DevDay event, OpenAI announced that ChatGPT now has more than 1.2 billion weekly active users, that ChatGPT Work and Codex together have over 35 million weekly users, and that the number of enterprises using OpenAI models has reached 2.5 million.
OpenAI said that compared with the 1 billion reported in July this year, ChatGPT's weekly active user base has grown further, showing that generative AI is accelerating from personal use toward workplace scenarios.
The rapid growth of ChatGPT Work and Codex users also reflects rising demand from enterprises and developers for document handling, data analysis, software development and workflow automation.
OpenAI has also increased its push into the enterprise AI market.
