借助插件扩展，开发者可以直接在 ChatGPT 中构建多元的应用内感受。现在，使用者可以为插件在侧边栏中设置专属入口，构建可供使用者一边对话一边工作的交互面板，或为机型兼容的文件类型创建查看器。
另外，插件创建工具可以协助开发者构建插件，重新外观的提交流程则给出更清晰的反馈。OpenAI 还在改进插件目录和对话中的插件排序与建议方式，协助使用者找到相关插件。使用者始终可以自主挑选使用哪些插件，并逐一批准其访问权限。
现在，使用者可以将受兼容的 ChatGPT 插件接入自己构建的站点，让工作空间中的团队成员凭各自的权限登录同一应用，并使用各自连接的数据。OpenAI 还简化了自动化流程的添加和管理，让站点中的共享信息保持最新。（适用于 Business、Enterprise、医疗保健版和 Education 套餐）
IT之家从发布会获悉，OpenAI 正在加入对拟议的 MCP 事件规范的兼容，让插件可以在已连接的应用中发生事件时启动自动化流程。例如，使用者可以让 ChatGPT 关注项目看板上的新任务。有新任务时，即使使用者不在，ChatGPT 也能阅读关联文档并起草计划。

Additionally, plugin creation tools can help developers build plugins, and the revamped submission process provides clearer feedback. OpenAI is also improving the plugin directory, as well as how plugins are sorted and recommended in conversations, to help users find relevant plugins. Users can always independently choose which plugins to use and approve their access permissions one by one.
Now, users can connect compatible ChatGPT plugins to the sites they build, allowing team members in a workspace to log into the same app with their respective permissions and use their own connected data. OpenAI has also simplified adding and managing automations, keeping shared information in the sites up to date. (Available for Business, Enterprise, Healthcare and Education plans)
IT Home learned from the launch event that OpenAI is adding compatibility with the proposed MCP Events specification, enabling plugins to trigger automations when events occur in connected apps. For example, users can have ChatGPT watch for new tasks on a project board. When a new task appears, ChatGPT can read linked documents and draft a plan even if the user is away.
