Note from IT Home: Apple Creator Studio is a creative and productivity app subscription service launched by Apple, integrating tools for video editing, music production, image appearance, and document creation. Subscribers can access professional apps like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro, along with their premium content.
Pixelmator Pro
The Mac and iPad versions of Pixelmator Pro added two template sets: one for sports and action items, and another for new creative, business, or model launches. The newly added "Podcast" category includes cover illustrations for showcasing podcast shows, with adjustable sizes to fit major podcast platforms.
The iPad version of Pixelmator Pro introduced a new "Select and Mask" capability. This feature provides more detailed selection and mask controls, allowing for handling complex edges like hair and fur while preserving relevant details.
Mac versions of Final Cut Pro and Motion
Mac versions of Final Cut Pro and Motion can now add cinematic effects to native videos shot on the iPhone 18 Pro using new methods. Editors can directly adjust focus and depth of field on the Final Cut Pro timeline.
Compressor allows editors to convert videos with cinematic effects back to the original cinematic mode format. It also includes new HEVC and MPEG-4 export presets for easy sharing to social media.
Keynote presentations, Pages documents, and Numbers spreadsheets
Apple Creator Studio subscribers can use the all-new professionally designed templates and themes in Keynote presentations, Pages documents, and Numbers spreadsheets.
Users of Keynote presentations, Pages documents, and Numbers spreadsheets can request access to shared presentations, documents, or spreadsheets to collaborate more comfortably and get instant assistance.
The Mac version of the Pages app added a Screen View, which optimizes content for easier reading and focused writing; the Numbers app added trigonometric, statistical, and logical functions, compatible with solving complex problems in spreadsheets.
Freeform
The Freeform app added several long-awaited features. Boards can now automatically adapt to Dark Mode. Users can use folders to organize different boards into different collections and invite others to collaborate. Users can also request access to shared files to join collaborations or use Shortcuts to add content automatically.
