IT之家 10 月 1 日消息，在今日的发布会上，华为常务董事、终端 BG 董事长余承东宣布，华为 Mate 90 Pro Max 借助 eSIM 与实体卡组合，业界首发“四卡三待”能力。
华为客服确认，“四卡三待”能力将借助 OTA 方式给出给 Mate XT 2 非凡大师，预计十月中下旬推送新版本兼容。
“四卡三待”意味着该机最多可存储两张实体 SIM 卡与两组 eSIM 号码，合计四个通信号码。使用者可挑选两张实体卡、一张实体卡加一张 eSIM，或两张实体卡加一张 eSIM 等组合，达成三张卡同时待机、同时在线，三卡均可通话、上网和收发短信。余承东在发布会上表示，“四卡三待”能兼容两家运营商的三张卡同时待机，相当于省了一部手机。
IT之家注：eSIM 即嵌入式 SIM 卡（Embedded SIM），无需实体卡片即可激活运营商号码，业务能力与实体 SIM 卡一致。
官方宣传页面表明，华为 Mate 90 Pro Max 的信号状态栏会同步表明三卡信号，使用主卡完整表明、副卡堆叠表明的方式，并兼容三卡 5A 通信同时在线。
华为在 eSIM 领域的布局始于 2025 年 12 月，当时在 Mate 80 RS 非凡大师上首次带来 eSIM 能力，最多兼容四个号码，涵盖两张实体卡加双 eSIM。2026 年 9 月发布的 Mate XT 2 与 Pura X View 均标配 eSIM，兼容双实体 SIM 加双 eSIM 组合。

IT之家 reports on October 1, 2025: At today’s launch event, Huawei’s Executive Director and Terminal BG Chairman, Yu Chengdong, announced that the Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max is the first in the industry to feature a “quad-card, triple-standby” capability, combining eSIM with physical SIM cards.
Huawei customer service confirmed that this “quad-card, triple-standby” feature will be delivered to Mate XT 2 Ultimate Edition users via OTA update, expected to roll out mid-to-late October.
The “quad-card, triple-standby” system allows the device to store up to two physical SIM cards and two eSIM profiles (totaling four numbers). Users can configure combinations such as two physical cards, one physical and one eSIM, or three cards simultaneously active — all capable of making/receiving calls, accessing internet, and sending/receiving SMS. Yu stated this effectively consolidates multiple operator lines into one device, saving space and cost.
IT之家 note: eSIM (embedded SIM) is a built-in chip that activates cellular service without a physical card, offering same functionality as traditional SIMs.
The official promo page shows the signal bar on Mate 90 Pro Max displaying three active cards (main card fully shown, secondary stacked), indicating support for simultaneous 5A communication across all three cards.
Huawei’s entry into eSIM began in December 2025 with the Mate 80 RS Ultimate Edition, supporting up to four numbers (dual physical + dual eSIM). The 2026 releases — Mate XT 2 and Pura X View — also included eSIM as standard, with similar multi-card flexibility.
