At 10:00 AM today (October 1), the Huawei Mate 90 Series and Full-Scenario New Product Launch Event kicked off on time. Alongside the long-awaited Mate 90 series, Huawei also casually dropped a wave of new products.

II. Mate 90 Series
Focusing on the Mate 90 series itself. At first glance, it's still that familiar and pure Mate flavor, but from the inside out, everything has changed. Let's break it down.
First, the appearance. Looking at the back, the classic center-line symmetry is retained, but they added a crystal lattice appearance, with a high-gloss metal middle frame paired with a matte metal backplate to create a full-metal unibody.
The rear camera module uses a floating star ring design. The Pro Max Collector's Edition even covers the camera with yttrium crystal jewels — a rare earth formulation with high hardness and high refractive index.
In terms of color options, the Pro, Pro Max, and Pro Max Collector's Edition all follow the "Colorful Reflections" theme. The Pro Max offers four colors: Emerald Green, Rose Gold, Diamond White, and Obsidian Black; the Pro offers Emerald Green, Amber Orange, Diamond White, and Obsidian Black.
As for the Mate 90, it adopts a "Rhythmic Crystal Lattice" approach, available in Crystal Green, Crystal Pink, Zero White, and Obsidian Black.

In terms of protection, they haven't cut corners: the series is dustproof and waterproof with an IP68 rating (up to 6 meters), and also carries an IP69 rating for resistance to high-temperature, high-pressure water jets.
For the glass, the third-generation Kunlun glass is used. The Mate 90 Pro and Max debut optical Kunlun glass with a full Kunlun Xuanwu architecture, while the Collector's Edition exclusively features Xuanwu Kunlun glass.
The display screen deserves special mention. The Mate 90 Pro and Pro Max are the first to feature the second-generation Ling珑 screen — a dual-layer OLED architecture with a custom Zhuque surface chip, undergoing deep AI Pixel-by-pixel calibration. The peak brightness reaches an astonishing 12,000 nits.
The Mate 90 Pro Max not only has the second-generation Ling珑 screen but also an additional full-color Ling珑 screen process that supports the BT.2020 ultra-wide color gamut.

Specifically, the standard Mate 90 carries the Kirin 9030 flagship τ chip. Compared to the Kirin 9020, it sees a 13% improvement in CPU, 54% in GPU, and 13% in NPU. It also supports FFRT hardware-software synergy scheduling, doubling the image loading speed (a 100% increase).
The Mate 90 Pro debuts the Kirin 9035 flagship τ chip. Compared to the Kirin 9030, it offers an 11% CPU increase, 10% GPU, and a whopping 51% NPU boost.
The Mate 90 Pro Max is even more powerful, featuring the Kirin 9050 Pro logical folding τ chip, which reaches 2.38 million transistors per square millimeter, a 28% increase in density.

In communication, an area where Huawei excels, the Mate 90 Pro Max introduces a world-first: four-card, three-wait capability (eSIM + physical SIM), allowing for two standby numbers simultaneously.
