IT Home reported on October 1st, citing tech media MacRumors, that a recent leak by insider pdfu revealed Apple's HomeHub interface will resemble the standby mode of the iPhone Duo foldable.
The image shows users can select various photo collections, memories, or shared albums for the standby UI. Once set, HomeHub retrieves photos from iCloud and displays them on screen.
Pdfu noted the photo interface is identical to the iPhone Duo's, which may explain why Apple hasn't yet released a specific iPhone Duo standby mode in Xcode.
According to IT Home, the device will likely feature a 6-inch display with an iPad-like design but a square body and base. It's rumored to have a spherical, G4-like metal base connected to the screen by a support arm.
The device may not support the App Store but will be compatible with Calendar, Weather, Music, Messages, and Reminders. It can identify family members and show personalized widgets for each.
