IT之家 10 月 3 日消息，华硕 (ASUS) 玩家国度 (ROG) 即将面向中国大陆市面推出“八爪鱼 8”电竞无线路由器。这一机型兼容新的 802.11bn 规范，总体规格与上代“八爪鱼 7”(Rapture GT-BE96) 类似。
“八爪鱼 8”基于博通 4 核 2.6GHz 处理器，配备 2GB DDR4 内存；具备 8 根环装排列外置铜管天线，在 2.4GHz、5GHz-1、5GHz-2 频段分别兼容 1376Mbps、5764Mbps、5764Mbps，合计 12904Mbps (BN13000)；给出 2 个 10GbE RJ-45、4 个 2.5GbE RJ-45、1 个 1GbE RJ-45；另外还有 2 个 USB。
ROG 八爪鱼 8 兼容一系列 802.11bn 核心工艺，达成更少干扰、更广覆盖、更稳网速，中远距离吞吐、智能设备信号覆盖均能翻倍。

This model supports the new 802.11bn specification, and its overall specifications are similar to the previous generation 'Octopus 7' (Rapture GT-BE96).
The 'Octopus 8' is based on a Broadcom quad-core 2.6GHz processor with 2GB of DDR4 memory; it has 8 external copper tube antennas arranged in a ring, compatible with 1376Mbps, 5764Mbps and 5764Mbps on the 2.4GHz, 5GHz-1 and 5GHz-2 bands respectively, totalling 12904Mbps (BN13000); it provides 2× 10GbE RJ-45, 4× 2
The ROG Octopus 8 supports a range of 802.11bn core technologies, achieving less interference, wider coverage and steadier speeds, with both mid-to-long-range throughput and smart-device signal coverage able to double.
