E Ink Holdings (EIH) says that it plans to expand its Advanced Color ePaper (ACeP) e-paper production to more sizes and start offering such displays to e-readers in 2020. The company also hopes to find customers in fields such as retailing, smart traffic, logistics, medical care and education.
In May 2019 EIH started to produce 26" color ACeP displays. The display supports a refresh rate that is lower than 3 seconds (similar to EIH's first 13" ACeP display).
E Ink first-generation Triton color e-Paper displays never really reached commercialization as the performance was not good enough. The company also produces 3-color displays (Spectra displays).
